The investment banking practice supports and sustains advisory services in high-growth corporations. Our investment banking services include:
- Mergers & Acquisitions
An active mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions practice is the cornerstone of AEC’s financial services business. Each transaction advised by AEC has both a technology component and high-growth potential, where risk and reward are carefully managed in closest communication with the client company’s executive management and corporate board. AEC is one of the very few firms of its size and prestige in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia active in M&A advisory work. Conflicts of interest and the appearance of conflicts of interest are carefully vetted before any client is signed for an M&A transaction. - Project Finance
In this service we arrange finance for projects based upon a non-recourse or limited recourse financial structure where project debt and equity used to finance the project are paid back from the cash flow generated by the project, with the project's assets, rights, and interests held as secondary security or collateral. It is our experience that Project Finance is especially attractive to the private sector because they can fund major projects off balance sheet.
- Due Diligence & Valuation Services
We provide these services to our clients by engaging one of the Big4 consultants through a streamlined process that involves inviting, evaluating, and awarding proposals to the consultant that best fits the transaction. These services are provided to confirm all material facts in regards to a purchase by a client and to determine the current worth (market value) of an asset or a company as part of Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Divestitures, Restructuring and transformation services.
- Leveraged Buyout
In this service we facilitate equity investments as part of a transaction in which a company, business unit or business assets are acquired from the current shareholders typically with the use of financial leverage. The companies involved in these transactions are typically more mature and generate operating cash flows.
